The 6mm bead strand, the base for fine bracelets
A strand about 38 cm long, with around sixty 6 mm drilled beads, in calibrated natural stone: this is the raw material for fine bracelets, multi-row bracelets, choker necklaces and earrings. Arabesk offers more than one hundred and seventy 6 mm strands, in all common stones plus a selection of fine gemstones, in grade A or AA quality.
Choosing your strands
A strand is judged by its calibration (all beads at the same diameter), the regularity of the drilling (a centered hole, with no chipping, of 0.8 to 1 mm) and the consistency of the colors. The most widely used stones in 6 mm: rose quartz, amethyst, moonstone, labradorite, aquamarine, hematite, onyx, howlite. We indicate dyed or stabilized stones.
What works in the workshop
