Wholesale Dreamcatchers: Woven Hoops, Feathers, Beads and Natural Stones
A symbol turned decorative object
A hoop stretched with a woven web, feathers and beads hanging below: the dreamcatcher comes from the Ojibwe people of North America, where it was believed to filter the dreams of a sleeping child. Now a popular decorative item, it comes in sizes ranging from the small 8 cm model to the large 40 cm hoop, in natural, coloured, stone-adorned, driftwood or metal versions. Arabesk offers around twenty different models.
Choosing your range
A dreamcatcher is judged by the regularity of its weave, how well the feathers are held (glued and tied) and the quality of the beads. Offer three sizes: small for the rear-view mirror or bag, medium for the bedroom, large as a wall piece. The models with natural stones (amethyst, rose quartz, 7 chakra chips) or with a tree of life at the centre are the most requested.
What works in-store
Hung in clusters at eye level, dreamcatchers brighten up a display and sell well as birth and housewarming gifts. They pair nicely with sun catchers, wind chimes and 3D mobiles from the mobiles section, as well as with wall hangings.
