Tumbled, Drilled and Strung Stones

Small tumbled stones measuring 8 to 12 mm, drilled and strung on a thread: tumbled stone strands give jewelry the soft, irregular shape of the tumbled stone, somewhere between a round bead and a chip. They are used for "natural" bracelets, necklaces and earrings, either on their own or mixed with round beads. Arabesk offers a selection of these stones, on strands of 38 to 40 cm.

Choosing Your Strands

Check the relative consistency of size, the polish and the cleanliness of the drilling. The most popular stones: amethyst, rose quartz, green aventurine, clear quartz, tiger's eye, agate, and multicolor or 7 chakras mixes.

What Works in the Workshop

One strand makes two to three bracelets on 0.8 mm elastic. The ready-made tumbled stone bracelets meet the needs of shops that don't do beading themselves; the chips on strand and raw stones on strand from the beads on strand category offer other textures.
