A fibrous quartz with shimmering golden reflections, tiger's eye is, alongside amethyst and rose quartz, one of the three stones your customers ask for by name. Choosing your quality
The value of a tiger's eye lies in its chatoyancy: sharp, luminous golden bands signal AA quality, while a deep brown with visible reflections indicates A quality. Arabesk sources its tumbled stones from South Africa and India and packs them in 250g bags, ready for bulk sale. Don't confuse it with hawk's eye (blue-grey, unoxidized) or bull's eye (red, heat-treated): all three sell very well side by side with a label explaining the difference.
