Choosing your pieces

A geode is judged by the quality of its crystals (clarity, brilliance, colour), the depth of the cavity and its stability. For amethyst, the deep purple from Uruguay is the most sought-after; for quartz druzy, the whiteness and purity of the points. Each piece is unique: our product sheets indicate weight and dimensions, and larger pieces are photographed individually.

What sells well in store
