Orange calcite wholesale: tumbled stones, rough, spheres and jewelry
Trade only, no minimum order.
Orange calcite, bright and translucent orange
Calcium carbonate colored orange by traces of iron, orange calcite is translucent and appears lit from within, which immediately sets it apart from carnelian, denser and redder. Crystal healing tradition makes it the stone of joy, creativity and confidence (sacral and solar plexus chakras). Hardness 3: it scratches with a coin, and is sensitive to acids and prolonged water exposure; it is a stone to display and hold rather than wear.
Choosing your quality
Quality is judged by the saturation of the orange and its translucency: a vivid, bright orange indicates AA quality, while a paler, milkier orange indicates A quality, highly sought after in bulk. Mexico is the reference deposit, where Arabesk sources its stock. Rough stones often show highly decorative pearly cleavage faces.
What sells in store
The tumbled stone for the joy basket, rough stone and sphere for decoration, the 8mm bead bracelet and the pendant. It pairs well with carnelian, sunstone and citrine in a "solar stones" display, and with blue calcite to showcase the calcite family.
