Blue Calcite Wholesale: Tumbled Stones, Rough Stones, Spheres and Jewelry
Trade only, no minimum order.
Blue calcite, soft milky blue
A calcium carbonate with a pale sky blue color, sometimes veined with white, blue calcite is one of the most soothing stones to look at. Crystal healing tradition makes it the stone of relaxation, sleep and gentle communication (throat chakra), often recommended for the bedroom and for children. Hardness 3: it scratches easily, is sensitive to acids (even vinegar) and prolonged water exposure; it is a stone to display rather than to wear daily.
Choosing your quality
Quality is judged by the intensity of the blue and the absence of grey areas: a bold, uniform blue signifies AA quality, while a very pale, more marbled blue indicates A quality, perfect for bulk sale. The reference deposits are in Mexico and Madagascar, where Arabesk sources its stones. Rough stones often show highly decorative pearly cleavage faces.
What sells in store
Tumbled stones, rough stones and spheres for decoration, the 8mm beaded bracelet and the pendant. It displays well with aquamarine, larimar and angelite in a "soft blue stones" section, and with orange calcite to showcase the calcite family.
