At 5 cm thick, it offers excellent durability. This Himalayan pink salt brick can be used in a variety of ways, including on a gas stove, barbecue, or in the oven. The square plate measures 20 x 20 cm.



Origin

The salt brick is carved from the heart of the Himalayan mountains, in the Pakistani Kashmir region.

Its structure, 100% natural rock crystal, comes from over 250 million years of fossilizations of inland seas and lakes.



Culinary uses



Chop and season

Rigid and made entirely of salt, it is the ideal utensil for cutting all types of food. The surface crystals subtly season vegetables, sliced meats and bring a sweet and salty effect to diced fruit.



Sear and grill

The brick can be used in the same way as a griddle.

Place it for a few minutes in an oven preheated to its maximum temperature, ensuring that it is dry beforehand. Whitening of the surface indicates an increase in the temperature of the crystals. Achieve perfect minute cooking of vegetables, sear meats and fish in the form of carpaccios or kebabs.



Refrigerate and store

The sensitivity of the brick allows it to reproduce the degrees of the environment in which it is integrated: slip it into a refrigerated container and once outside, it will retain the cold it has captured.

The brick-like freshness allows it to be used on a cheese or dessert platter.
